Holistic Education

The Widener Partnership Charter School emphasizes the holistic education of the child. Four key elements of this holistic approach are:
• a low student to teacher ratio of 17 to 1 that permits intensive, personalized instruction in the basic academic subjects;

• a commitment to making music, art, drama, physical and health education, and foreign language instruction an integral part of the curriculum;

• programming specifically focused on fostering the social and emotional development of the students;

• partnering with families to ensure that caregivers can be intensely and productively engaged in their child’s educational experience at the school.
